Tributes
When I look back over the last twelve years since the first Delos Symposium, and realize all that it has meant to the world and to all of us who were fortunate enough to share in it, I wonder to myself what made it possible. Dinos's vision of Ecumenopolis? Dinos's vision of the way in which different talents and temperaments in ekistics could be orchestrated into a vast symphony? Dinos's reception of all of us into his family? Or simply Dinos – Constantinos Doxiadis -- himself? This I cannot answer. I can only acknowledge the wonder of it.MARGARET MEAD
