The sub-file concerns the various meetings that took place during the 1969 AEM, on July 7th- August 1st: the Ekistics Research Discussions, which were held on July 7th -15th, 1969 in Athens (subj: Society and Human Settlements; Analysis and definition of problems,) the International Seminar on Ekistics, which took place on July 21st - August 1st of the same year, in Athens (subj: Society and human settlements: Programs and plans for the future), the meeting of the "Ekistics" Editorial Advisory Board (Athens, July 21st), the symposium on Education on Ekistics (Athens, July 23rd), the 5th General Assembly of the WSE July 19) and the tour of Greek Settlements through the Ages (July 12th-19th). (The Delos Symposion, Jul. 12th-19th- constitutes a distinct file).
It contains documents of ATO internal circulation, correspondence between ACE and several scientists about participation to 1969 AEM, general information for the participants, lists of participants and the " Who is Who" of them as well as the schedules of the meetings. It also contains the participants contributions, abstracts of the meetings, selected bibliography, the issues no 162 and no 50 of the EKISTICS and ATO/ACE NEWSLETTER magazines respectively, as well as clippings and photographs. |
