C. A. Doxiadis talks about the city as a system and not just a densely built area. He refers to the relationship between energy resources and transport and concludes that modern social inequalities stem from unequal access to energy resources. E. A. G. Robinson and M. Mead add the factor of technological progress to the creation of social inequalities but M. Mead also stresses the various possibilities offered to man by technology. There takes place a discussion on development models of developing countries. |
